2012 is here! Bhagooooo!

Its been ages since I've blogged...I kno. Either I've lost my sense of humor..or life has. I vote both :P
In a few days, my 24th new year will dawn. And hopefully the last. Mugagagagga.
Now let me tell you, why being a 24 year old girl is no fun:

1. All the maamis/friends turned maamis begin all conversations with you, with 'So...eppo kalyanam panikara plans?'
2. You do not understand your friends anymore. They have all moved on to different lives.
3. You do not understand what you are doing with your 'career' anymore. All you are sure of is finishing off all the lunch in your carrier *ha ha whattey witty play on word...i'm a genius i know*

Yes yes...very sad lives we lead. Regular Cinderellas we are. :P

So what have i been upto all this time I have been in hibernation? I've been...umm...actually hibernating. No really...that, and eating. In every possible place. With every possible perumation and combination of friends. That is actually one thing that has never changed abt my friends till date though. They, like me, can relate/conclude/lead any topic to food. Aha! :D

I have also switched jobs....just because I was bored of sitting in the same place, doing the same thing, over and over again. Now I am sitting in another desk, like some 1km away from the old one, doing the same thing, over and over again. And hanging out with the same ppl. Whattey rollercoaster ride no? Switching jobs?

I am alsooo getting married...does not seem to sink in no matter how many times I say it. My biggest worry as of today, is remembering to get married. I might just plan some trip or sleep off that day. So my life must be considerably different now, you think? I am marrying a friend. So no new rush of remance and what not.

I wonder how so much yet so little can happen to one person.

ooh ooh...I did go to a metallica concert...thats one strike off my bucket list...in a salwar. I was hoping to stand out in the crowd. Damn the middle aged lady in crisp cotton sari who stole my thunder and kept getting shown on the big screen!
Btw here's a review of it...i guess thats how everyone of felt after the concert:

Yups...thats how my year has been pretty much....very..umm...cheerful...I know.

Mebbe better luck next year :D

Now that you have suffered through a random senseless post, welcome back :D

Umm....

Umm...so apparently the whole world is getting married. I'm not exaggerating...trust me. For a while, all I could hear around me (or rather read about on facebook) was Engagements, Weddings, Maldives and *gasp* bundles of joy! I kid you not! My batchmates have started having *gasp again* JOYFUL BUNDLES! This oughto explain the recession in my blog....this and the fact the most interesting thing happening in my life right now is that I have started playing Bubble Spinner on MindJolt games, graduating from Bouncing Balls(both fine, mentally stimulating games by the way).
So after listening to 11 different sets of 'umm we are commited' and 'umm i am getting engaged' in just 3 weeks and fascinating conversations that begin with 'see my sari!' and 'the collection in crowded-tnagar-shop-with-multi-colored-boards is brilliant', I have decided: any more and I am going to the Himalayas. I am going to live in a cave. And if by any chance, you miss the wise old me, I will consider getting an Idea sim. I would also consider taking you along with me if you sign a contract that says you will not come back to the cave after a weekend and say 'ummm...so....'. Capish?

Idle Mind

Being sleepy eyed and sid-the-sloth-like, the way i usually am at the beginning, middle and end of everyday, i spotted this article in the newspaper today:

Which led me to thinking...the conclusion of which is this: I acknowledge I have the disease. But I choose to live with it. Be a role model. Like all those women you read about who have survived deadly diseases and write motivational, see-the-upside articles about it. And if the disease does get to me, I choose to die a martyr.
The brief Peep-into-vetti's-head moment is now over...you may all get back to whatever you were doing. :P

That time of the year...

Its that time of the year when u think everything arnd u is fallin apart...or fallin sick...or givin bad appraisals..
So how do u get over it?
I tried cribbing abt it till my heart bled...apparently arnd tis time of the yr, ur heart's blood comes from an akshaya paathram n u cant bleed it out...
so then i startd the usual think-positive u can get thru tis approach...apparently every positive thot is followed by an equal n opp thot 2 days later...hey i'm human! i cant help it!
So thennn i decided...lifestyle change. I'm too bored with life..wat if i change my routine...wake up earlier, start the studying i'v been putting off for so long...breathe in freshhh air...leave home early from office...see the outsdie worldd!
U wanna kno how tats goin? Its 12:40am n i'm typing tis form my desk at work!
Life! wat else can ya do abt it?
(suggestions open!)
